Level 4 Diploma in Information Technology

The programme combines technical principles with their application in IT settings. Learners study how computer systems and networks operate, how software is planned and developed, and how digital information can be managed effectively. They also examine the security considerations involved in protecting systems and data.

By studying several areas of IT, learners develop their problem-solving ability and gain a clearer understanding of the roles available within the sector. The diploma provides a foundation for more specialised study at Level 5 and for further development in the workplace.
